The cavesson is a perfect complement when, among other things, you work the horse from the ground, and is excellent for younger horses when you start handling them. The pressure over the nose bridge encourages the horse to flex at the poll, which helps to encourage the horse to achieve a correct position with the whole body, providing the best possible conditions for working through and starting to build the muscles correctly.
